This is a booklet I have created on numbers 1 to 1,000,000 for my GCSE students, although I have used it with top sets Year 9 and 8 as well. In this booklet you will find: A page and a half explaining how numbers are formed in Spanish, from 1 to over 1 million. A total of 7 activities, including a crossword, wordsearch, maths calculation, number writing and money counting. This booklet will cover a whole lesson for over an hour. This is a lesson I have created for my GCSE students to get familiar with the role play task. To begin with, we look at question words and their translation into English. Then, I explain to them the difference between qué and cuál, which is often confunsing for them. Afterwards, students attempt 5 different role plays on a mix of different topics. This lesson includes a starter, plenary and homework task. The file is a PPT so it is completely editable. All answers and model answers embedded in PPT.

This is a worksheet I have created after spending a bit of time on the present (regular and irregular verbs), the past (preterite and imperfect) and the future (includes near future tense). I just wanted my students to do a bit of work on the three tenses together at the same time. The worksheet includes: A mat explaining how the present, the past (preterite and imperfect) and the future (future simple and near future tense) work, including the most common irregular verbs in the yo form. 10 activities to practice answers included.

Essay phrases for A level Spanish students. My students find it really useful and I always make them use six or seven of these sentences per essay. Also I would tell them which ones to use and then they will have to write the essay using the ones I have told them. The phrases are divided in different categories: connectors, opinions, phrases that require subjunctive, introducing an argument, developing an argument and concluding.
